I've been computerless, and I don't like it one little bit!
I know that I should be glad for the break, but I do some of my work via the computer. So it cramps my budget and irritates me as well.

I have not been doing well on the diet.
So as of yesterday, I start all over.
Not on induction...just on point. I have been maintaining not dieting.
Yesterday I started tracking every bite I eat and tracking my weight daily in a private journal at home. I'm hoping this will get me back and keep me on track. Wish me luck, I have a feeling I'm going to need...

There and back again...
I have been missing in action for a bit now. I went on a road trip to Texas on the 21st.

Magic Wednesday weigh in days:
10 pound challenge starting 4/1/08
Starting weight: 153.8
April 02 = 153.8
April 09 = 151.0
April 16 = 149.7
April 23 = 151.5
April 30 = 148.1
May 07 = 151.0
May 14 = 150.7
May 21 = 153.0
May 28 = 151.8
June 04 =
June 11 =


I ate badly most of the trip. How does anybody live in Texas and not have a weight problem? I don't...

Weekly Check In

150lbs today.

Not a good week but it could have been worse. Well, it should have been better. I know that anything real and worth having does not come easy. I need to focus a little harder and ease down slowly in the right direction.
I only need to get to 143 to stay in the game with my friends. That seems so hard since I have bounced up and down so long. I need to take a deep breath and crawl forward. I was cruising along too well for so long that I was getting smug and cocky. I was wondering why some of my friends were struggling so. Maybe now was my time to walk a mile...

Notsomagic Wednesday

I was hoping this would be a better weigh in day, but it is what it is. It's what happens when you hope for success more than work for it.
151 lbs
I go back a few steps, but I'm not stepping out of the game. I've had a bad last few days in my battle, but not quite ready to give up the fight. Today, I give myself permission to have a bad week. The whole week wasn't bad or the number would be higher. I give myself a break from the berating I usually give myself. I give myself permission to move on and have a better week.
I have another week to look forward to.

Magic Wednesday

Better today than last not-so-Magic-Wednesday.
I'm down more to where I want to be. I am in a little 10lb challenge. I am happy to see that I am finally with the program. A couple of my buddies and I are helping each other. This week I have started helping myself.
It's not a big drop, but it's a movement in the right direction. I'll take it and move forward with a little more spring in my step and a little more motivation to do better this week. 148lbs, working toward 135!
