There and back again...
I have been missing in action for a bit now. I went on a road trip to Texas on the 21st.

April 09 = 151.0
April 16 = 149.7
April 23 = 151.5
April 30 = 148.1
May 07 = 151.0
May 14 = 150.7
May 21 = 153.0
May 28 = 151.8

I ate badly most of the trip. How does anybody live in Texas and not have a weight problem? I don't even like tacos all that much, but they are different in Texas! My Mother-in-law had a great time visiting her high school friend and seeing her childhood home town. This is where she had her first child, my husband, at the age of 18. She hadn't been back until now. We fell in love with the place. We have promised to go back again next year.
We ate at two places that I would recommend to any visiter, not on a diet!
First is Herbert's Taco Hut in San Marcos, TX. The food is authentic and outstanding. The tacos rock! The mild salsa is spicey hot, you must be in Texas.
And...there is the B-B-Q. We found a place waaaaaaay out in the sticks called Salt Lick in a place called Driftwood, Texas. Seriously good ribs people. I am so happy to be able to eat in places like this when we are in an area that is this foreign to the foods that we eat daily. I am also happy to be home and back on track with my diet. I had a few salads along the way but wouldn't have traded the food fun that we had. Now, I'm looking forward to salads!
My weight has stayed the same, I got in gym time at the hotels we stayed at. The only thing that saved me from myself.
I hope to start back to losing now that the road trip is over...until the next road trip!

Not at the moment but I do it on days that it works with my schedule. If dinner rolls around too late I eat the next day, if I miss breakfast I skip it till late lunch...that kind of thing.
