Something happened on my way to a lower number...

Something happened on my way to a lower number on my scale, I became healthier.
Has it been a year already? I started my lo-carb life on September 19th 2007.

I was reading a discussion on the very meaning of lo-carb, the basic theory. I started out a year ago kicking and screaming all of the way...now it's a natural choice. I am very happy to be able to say that. However, with that being said, I also know that I will venture off of the path of good health on the occasion. I will also skip a day (or days ) of exercise or do any number of things that may not be good for...

Counting the inches

Posted 07-16-2008 at 12:10 PM by unsociabelle
For the last few weeks I have been only semi successful with my battle with the scales. I have started recording inches. Since June 29th I have lost an inch. In all the right places! I'm happy to see the affects of my efforts, it makes...

I have been very strict in recording all of my food, eating the right food and the right portions. I have been doing my workout and increasing at the pace suggested. But today I went the wrong direction in the scale movement. From 153.9 to 154.1. It's only by less than a pound, but it's movement in the wrong direction all the same. Before I got out the chocolate, I got out the tape measure. Lo and behold, I found the movement!...

Another Day in The Life of...

Posted 06-27-2008 at 11:53 AM by unsociabelle
To post or not to post, what was the question?
I am not sure what good I do myself by posting this. Do I record the time it takes me to ease myself into weight loss? Is it so I can go back to another day in time that I had a small measure of success only to gain and be back at the near beginning. I have another forum that I use for my real therapy. This forum was to help me move on a track that has had no movement for me in recent days, months. My timer/ticker is ticking the days away till my next deadline September 16th. The date when I will have been on this track for a year. Not true...
