I see that some people are using the blogs to simply ask a question of other members, so maybe it's time I blogged my opinion about the difference between blogs (web logs) and message board (forum) posts.

Message boards are the perfect place to ask a question or start a discussion about a topic when you want opinions from many people. Message boards threads are based around a topic. Generally debate and discussion by others is encouraged. In general, everyone can read the message boards and everyone can post a reply.
