Day 3

Felt better yesterday in terms of that "off" feeling going away, although I feel a bit headachy today. I don't blame that on the lowcarbing, though, as a lot of triggers are present right now (specifically, PMS and the fact that they're revamping the parking lot outside my apartment and since I'm so sensitive to smells, the blacktop odor is getting to me).

Since it's a bit gray outside, I decided to make this an errand day - laundry and taxes. Fun, fun, fun.

I'm also trying to rest my muscles a bit. A few days ago, I was walking through a construction area...

Day 2

Well, yesterday went very well, except that I didn't get in all the food on the menu I planned, which left me eating around 1000 calories (which I know is not enough!)

I did feel a bit "off" yesterday, though. Not nausea or tired or crabby - I actually was in a good mood and had energy enough not to take a nap in the middle of the day - but just "off". Part of that might have been because I think my body is still trying to flush out all the junk food I ate over the weekend.

Restaring

I'm going to try to post to this blog regularly regarding my healthy eating/weight loss journey, although I'm notoriously bad about posting to blogs . Hopefully I'll get some comments!

My story: I discovered the low carb lifestyle in 2002 and did it for a while. I felt really good, had a lot of focus and energy, was never hungry, AND was able to curb a lot of my junk food binging habits which have plague me since my teens. I also lost 30 pounds .

But I didn't have a good maintenance plan set up and I also switched to being a vegetarian (not for animal activist...
