Well, I think by starting a blog, I will be able to keep myself more accountable and help keep me on the right track. I am 44 years old and I am 5' 9" tall and I weigh 163. A good weight for me is 135 pounds. I have managed to put on this lovely amount since turning 40. Yuck!!!! I have tried lots of different WOE to try to get this weight off but I am horrible about sticking to anything. I never had to diet in my life until I turned 40 and I simply do not have the discipline to keep up with it.
I am hopeful that these boards and also by this blog, I will be able to reach my goal. I have never had trouble with exercise. I have been doing Beach Body programs for years and still do Power 90X and Turbo Jam 5-6 days a week. I also recently became a Beach Body coach to further help me with my fitness goals and also to help others on the same journey! I just ordered that 10/10 callanetics DVD and I will get it tomorrow. I am anxious to see what all the fuss is about! I love varying my exercise program so that I do not get bored.
I am currently following Atkins and am in day 3 of induction. So far so good.
Today's meals so far are scrambled eggs with 3 slices of bacon and a cup of coffee. Snack was 10 almonds (I know not exactly induciton food!!!) and lunch will be 2 veggie burgers with a green salad and blue chees dressing. Dinner is will determined later!!! I do wish there was something weet that I couls have in the evenings though. That's about the only time I crave something sweet.
Well, that's it for now; I'll post more as the day goes along.....
