I turned some lemons into lemonade this week...low carb lemonade, of course!
It was a slow week, workwise, and with my new found energy from no sugar or carbs, I tore into working around my house like a woman possessed!
I have gotten soooooo much done! I have tons more to do but I got more done since last Sunday than in the last few months combined! I'd love to be able to stay home and putter around the house all the time but I'm a single Mom of two grown kids and I haven't hit the lottery!

I guess the energy is coming from NO SUGAR in my system, but I've been cleaning and decluttering like a maniac now since Sunday!
I love this feeling of getting so much accomplished.
It's been a very slow week, workwise but I was actually excited about how much I could get done at home for a change. And I kept my resolve and kept my nose to the grindstone!
I'm far from done but WOW!
I really am proud of how much I've gotten done and how hard I've been working for the past three days!
I've stayed on plan too!

I'm down just under 11 pounds!
I feel better, which is what matters most.
Of course I'm loving the loss that will eventually allow me to buy smaller sizes in clothes, but I feel lighter, I'm experiencing a bit more energy.
I have to correct something I wrote on the board earlier in the week...
I said I had never had the Induction Flu. I was wrong. It only occurred to me today that this past week I did have it! I just didn't realize that it was the IF. I had a slight fever, chills, nausea, headache and felt like total crap.
It lasted between two and three days....

Happy Tuesday!
It's below zero outside, several inches of snow from the storm and everything is closed or shut down again today! I was hoping for a milder start to March!
In any case, spring fever is running rampant here! I have the garden mapped out, my list of veggies is almost complete.
I'll have to check all of my supplies for the canning, freezing and dehydrating I will do this summer and fall. I just love doing the "homey" stuff! With DD now off on her own and getting married in June, and DS spending lots of time with his gf, and working, I don't need to...
