the title is pretty self explanatory. "Taking Control". I have spent too long allowing my feelings: physical and/or mental to control me. it's time to change all that (past time, really).

as of today, I am taking back my life. I want the control back. I want to feel good and be healthy and I can't do it if I continue on the way I am.

I am embarrassed and upset with myself that I'm where I am. I honestly believed I would not ever be anywhere near close to this size again. yet...here I am basically with the same issues I had before I ever started this journey so long ago.

today and the future is MINE!
it's mine to do with what I CHOOSE to do. healthy or not healthy. I choose healthy!


now I know, just my saying it is not going to make it be so. I know I'm going to have struggles along the way. I know I'm not going to be perfect. but I have to make a choice and at least start backing up my words with action on a consistent basis.

today I choose to make the changes in the behaviors that I need in order to be the "me" that I want to be.

whew, 2 days down...no candy .

I didn't quite get all my goals done yesterday. I did eat on plan, I did read the chaptors I had planned in my book. actually read a little more than planned. I got some dishes done but didn't finish it all.


I guess I'll put that in as part of today's goals, lol.

My thought for today:
What are you going to make of today? are you going to just "go through the motions" and get through it? At the end of the day when you look back and ask "what did I accomplish? where did I make a difference? What's your answer going to be? Look for a way to make a difference in someone's life today.


Make a positive impact on someone, be it a family member, friend or a complete stranger. don't waste the day just "going through the motions" and getting through it.

As a dear friend of mine likes to say "Make IT Count!" who's with me. Are you going to make today "just another day?" or are you going to "MAKE IT COUNT?"


Today's goals:
  • follow my nutritional plan
  • exercise
  • get my kitchen CLEAN
  • read 2 more chaptors in my book
  • watch for where I can "make a difference" for someone else.
