self respect
I DESERVE to be treated with well.
How should I treat myself?

1 ~ I should concentrate on the positive qualities. I should NOT put myself down because of my weaknesses but still strive to do my best while not expecting perfection.

negative talk will only bring me down emotionally which will lead to bringing me down physically.

I'm part of God's creation. IF I talk down about me, I'm putting down God's work. How rude of me. I better stop that .

We teach our children not to put people down, yet we do it to ourselves. NO! I deserve better than that!

2 ~ take care of myself emotionally. I should DO what I need to be happy. that may be helping others by volunteering or it may be taking some time to just relax and do nothing. It could be taking the time to journal and reflect on things or it may be spa time. but, regardless of my needs any given day, my emotional health IS important and I won't ignore it.

It's great to have a good time with friends/family and to lean on my husband or friends, when I need support, but I shouldn't expect them to meet ALL my emotional needs to make my life Happy. I am responsible for myself. I want to be a good partner with my husband. A partner doesn't expect the other person to have all the responsibilities. Why should I expect my husband or friends to have all the responsibility for my happiness? I shouldn't and I won't.
