I had an interesting day. Our dining room was delivered first thing this morning (it's in boxes and DA is over in his chair now, reviewing the instructions to put it together - we bought it online). Then I went over to the gym and got a free 5 days to "make up your mind". It's $77 a month with no contract (but a $49 sign-up fee) and they only deal with individual contracts - no family memberships. but I wanted to check in. The last two days has been a success so far. I've stayed on Plan or, as I call it, "OP"...and my cooking has been easy and wonderful. Last night my lasagna was P-E-R-F-E-C-T (or so DA says) and when I served him the cauliflower casserole tonight along with the London Broil, he said that with that dish, he wouldn't worry about needing potatoes and wouldn't change a thing. (Thanks Linda Sue - you're making this transitition to cooking for a non-LC'er so much more easier!).

Okay...today is a new start for me (once again). I fear I'm headed up into the 160'2 if not already there and I"m taking control of myself. My one month long eating and drinking jag has ended officially! Am heading off to the store to pick up some hamburger and Italian sausage for the Dreamfield's lasagna tonight. Next week i"m going back strictly into induction but this week I'm giving DA a taste of the lc lifestyle and how diverse it can be. In other words, one can cook while doing low carbing. He loves lasagna and so I thought I would make him some the lc way...low sugar tomato...

Where do I start? Oh man...I thought I would post this first blog by describing how my life has changed over the past 6 months and continue from there. Those that know me are aware of the changes in my life over the past 4 years but let's face it, that would take FAAAAR too long to post!
