Working too hard? Easing up to be effective

Posted 01-08-2009 at 01:49 AM by Starduster
wow! I actually got through the the stomach section of callanetics 10in10 - all of them (400 reps)! I've realized 2 things a) being distracted by tv helps a lot, and b) I think the reason I couldn't do them before is that i was putting too much effort into them. Sounds crazy right? But when i stop and really think about it, it makes a lot of sense. I was trying to do the reps more like LBM and TBM, so could barely get through 10, but now that I've eased up a bit and let me back roll down a bit (closer to the floor), the reps are a little easier. I have to take a breather at about 50 pause and continue. but hey I am doing them, which is a huge improvement since i was just skipping them before lol. Eventually I hope to do the LBM style but for now am just glad I'm moving the area. Progress, progress, progress!

Speaking of which - tomorrow is Measurement Day - ughhh! I tried on a couple skirts tonight and umm, not looking too promising at the moment.
