I have learned that my addiction affects me physically, Mentally, and Spiritually. So I know I need to be working on those three areas every day to become well. (better than well)
This will be my blog about my journey to those lands.

I did it! I ate Thanksgiving dinner without breaking the bank. In fact I ate less points than I had planned two weeks ago when we wrote it out at our WW meeting.
The measuring spoons really helped. I used the smallest one. (1/4 Cup) to scoop out my servings and I only went back for more gravy.
I am so dang proud of myself it aint funny. Now it is on to Christmas. With this success under my belt I feel stronger.
Oh I even went on my treadmill yesterday and did 35 minutes! That earned me 3 extra points!

Finally! I have two losses in a row. It has been months since that has happened. I am feeling good about my program now and I hope that I understand plateaus better because I am sure there will be a next time. I will know to change up what I am eating and my exercise routine sooner.
I am planning on following a plan for Thanksgiving day. I bought the WW measuring spoons so I could scoop out my servings and know that I am eating the exact amount and not guessing. The WW spoons are very generous looking. They are accurate but they look bigger than their size. That helps....

I lost 2.2!!! I am so glad that I finally lost some weight. Now I hope to do it again next week.
I switched up my breakfast food with protein (eggs) instead of oatmeal. I switched up my exercise with some new routines. I also wrote everything I ate down which was revealing to me.
In our meeting today we received a list of foods you would most likely find on your thanksgiving table with their point values and a paper plate. We wrote on our paper plate what we planned to eat and added up the value. Most of us came out with 20 pts. Our leader felt that...

This week I committed to writing everything down on a paper tracker even tho I have etools.
What I have learned so far is that I was off a lot more than I thot. I was eating stuff and not counting it and not thinking that it counted. I am sure that is a form of denial.
I am still trying to rein in some of my bad habits but I am doing much better so far this week The scale is already showing me love.

No Weigh In! Did you know that you can opt out of weighing in if you think you have gained and you just can't stand to see another gain? (at weight watchers, of course)
In fact you only are required to weigh in once a month!! It is not encouraged to do it that way but it is nice to know.
I chose not to weigh in today and my leader said that was the right choice after I stepped on the scale and she saw where I was.
So I am doubling my efforts this week and writing everything down and hoping to have a great loss next week.
