I have learned that my addiction affects me physically, Mentally, and Spiritually. So I know I need to be working on those three areas every day to become well. (better than well)

This will be my blog about my journey to those lands.

Focus

I need to keep my focus on my own behavior. I am doing all that I can to exercise and to get my healthy guidelines fulfilled each day.

My friend, who started WW with me, doesn't even try to follow the food plan and dabbles in exercise and still loses weight??!!

I know that I cannot change her and I am doing a good job but I felt distracted today because of it. ( I am killing myself to lose weight and she is doing it "effortlessly?") You know what comes after that thot....... what's the point?

That is some stinking thinking and I confess that right here and denounce it. I would have been working just as hard if I had started alone and had no one to compare to.

I have lost more weight than her but I never felt like this was a contest. I am not wired like that. I don't want to think like that either. That would also be a distraction.

Just some true confession here becuz it is good for the soul.

You're right Slim, it is good for the soul. I hear you about comparing your loss to others. I can get that way on the boards as well as RL....and the next thing you know I have given up....cause what is the point?

Well lady, you have recognized and admitted and I have too so maybe we can keep each other motivated. It is an individual program after all and the hardest victories are often the most cherished.

Hope you are having a great weekend.
