I have learned that my addiction affects me physically, Mentally, and Spiritually. So I know I need to be working on those three areas every day to become well. (better than well)

This will be my blog about my journey to those lands.

Good News!!!

Hubby and I went to the surgeon yesterday and we have been told that they will be able to take care of the damage to hub's knee arthrosopically! (that's a mouthful) It means that they only make two little incisions on either side of the knee and go in with instruments that allow them to see inside and also fix the parts that need fixing. What a great day we live in! It means less recovery. Less pain. Back to work quicker.

Hubby just wanted to know if he could ride his Harley by June for Bike week in Laconia. The doc told him that he would be fine by then. Halleluia!

I feel very relieved. He has been taking it very easy around here for three weeks and we feared the worst. An invasive surgery to clean up massive damage.

This surgeon wants him off the crutches and braces and using the knee to strengthen the muscles around it.

I feel much lighter. I got on the scale this morning and I am showing more weight loss, seriously! I am not claiming it until my wi day but I thot it was funny to see my scale down even lower than my wi yesterday.

That is WONDERFUL news about DH!!!! Knee surgery is no fun. I have a friend that had to have it twice. The less invasive the better.

Congrats on your loss!

and thanks so much for commenting in my blog.
