I have learned that my addiction affects me physically, Mentally, and Spiritually. So I know I need to be working on those three areas every day to become well. (better than well)

This will be my blog about my journey to those lands.

My exercise

Posted 03-31-2008 at 08:59 PM by slimdays
I have a treadmill at home. I love to listen to music that is fast enuf to keep me going. I have bought some sports music at Strawberries and some at Collagevideo.com

I get on the treadmill and warm up for 3-5 mins and then push the speed a bit for the rest of the time. Right now I am doing 20-25 mins a day. I am working my way up to 30 mins a day. I am doing it gradually this time because I don't want to be so sore that I don't want to go on it the next day. So far I am doing a great job. I have books on exercise by Covert Bailey. I like his ideas. He explains that target zone is in the middle of the range for your age. Anything higher is not burning fat. When you exercise too hard it only burns sugar. So if my range is 104-128 bpm than I walk in the 119-126 range.

I have a pedometer but it needs a battery. I will be getting one tomorrow and then I will put the pedo on and see what I get from that.
