Kitchen Fairies are NOT conducive to weight loss!

On a completely unrelated note, one of the kids I watch made a leggo tower a few minutes ago, and he had this strange formation on the front of his building that looked a little like a "T" ... he said it was indeed a "T", and the building was a restaurant named "Tea-rriffic!" that only has tea and toast to eat there. Ahh, the things 4 yr olds think of! I think it sounds like a great name for a restaurant, personally!

Anywho ... I didn't do so well with eating yesterday, since I got a nasty hunger/craving spell in the afternoon and satisfied it with a serving of regular crackers and a slice of 2% cheese. Not terrible, but not good, either. BUT then sis and her kids came over to visit last evening, and I had a good 6 point dinner, but somehow, before I knew it, I was slicing a big old angel food cake COVERED with whippy icing, and sitting down with a slice of cake, along with sis and her kids. Oh, my, it was good ... a bit too rich, even!

But, I figured it couldn't have been more than 6 points for the cake and icing, so I decided to cut myself off for the day and move on.

And move on I did, as I found myself back in the kitchen after sis and the kids left and DH and I were watching TV. I swear I was only planning on getting a diet soda from the fridge, but, before I could turn around, there were 2 fat free hot dogs covered with mustard and ketchup on their way to my mouth. Can you believe it? There must be little fairies in my kitchen or something, and they keep shoving food at me!

Naaaahhh ... I take full responsibility for it, and I know just what happened ... it was totally because my breakfast wasn't substantial enough, so it set off a series of food issues. I was feeling deprived in the morning, so I indulged too much throughout the day. So, this morning, I had 2 slices of high fiber toast with some all fruit spread, and an apple. That should keep me full for a bit, at least until lunch. And if it doesn't, and I start to get hungry again, I have an orange at the ready, and a bottle of water.
