Jewel Diamond Taylor's message...

The seeds of depression and defeat cannot take root in a strong mind or a grateful heart. However, if you are in a season of disappointments and emotional pain ---instead of shopping 'til you drop, starving your self with depression, suppressing your feelings with food, alcohol or drugs, making your self sick or seeking comfort in the wrong places and wrong faces...learn to surrender your pain to the Lord and sit with your feelings because just like the weather, they will soon change. You may feel stuck between "when?" and "why?". Hold on and be encouraged.

In difficult moments, seek God.
In quiet moments, worship God.
In painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.

You can make your self sick, angry and depressed if you constantly debate and think about the outcomes in your life that cannot be changed or controlled.

(Sorrowful yet always rejoicing ~ 2 Corinthians 6:10)
