Day 3

Well, I don't have a cold, I have the flu and strep throat. ugh! I have never felt so sick! I feel like I'm swallowing razor blades.

Finally sucked it up and went to the doctors today. Got a prescription of antibiotics which I'm waiting for them to kick in.

The positive is that I got weighed at the doctors office and I'm down to 182 lbs. I guess there is a benefit when you can't swallow anything but soup.

Seriously though...here is what I had today:

B: 1 WW blueberry muffin
L: not sure. I think I missed lunch

Day 1 overview

Well, I'm in bed....still sick with a bad cold but I wanted to log what I ate today. Of course, no exercise but I can hardly walk much less exercise with this darn cold right now.

B: egg white omelet w/ 1 oz ham and FF cheese & cup of decaf tea

L: can of Progresso Light chicken noodle soup and one FF hot dog & cup of tea.

S: 5 pieces garlic melba toast (60 cals.) w/ 5 pieces of turkey pepperoni and 1 slice of cheese.

D: 1 piece sausage, 1/4 cup couscous, 1/2 c. brocolli and cauliflower

S: 5 M&M's, 1 apple...

Here we go...January 1, 2008

Well, here I am, January 1, 2008.

This time last year I was 5 months post partum with my 2nd daughter. I was at about 196 lbs (I'm 6'1" tall). I knew I was using the birth of my child as an excuse for all of my extra pounds. So I joined Nutrisystem. I was really determined to lose the weight and I did! I got down to 164 lbs and I was almost in a size 8. Totally happy!

Then in July I moved into a house we built and I went back to work. With all the traveling and meetings and "free foods" I quickly went back up to 183 lbs where I am now. ...
