Scooching

Posted 11-12-2007 at 05:33 PM by Rory8343
Good eating today:

B: Protein Bar And Coffee ½ Decaf with heavy cream and Splenda
Lunch: Tuna Salad with olives (do olives count as a veggie?)
S: Almonds and Herbal Tea
D: Lamb Chops and Cauliflower and a Glass of White Wine

Dessert: Cup of tea with a slash of real live milk (shush don’t tell anyone!) and splenda
And of course water

Not enough veggies today. Bought more spinach at the store today will have a big salad tomorrow. I’ll just pretend I’m one of my skinny friends. Or better yet …. Put bacon on it!

Did some yoga right in my office this afternoon. Just a few poses, a little down dog, some child’s pose, a mountain pose, then I tried some restorative poses for stress relief; Feet Up the Wall Pose. Yep, just like it sounds! Feels great but the challenge is getting into the pose. The key is to sit down with you butt right next to the wall to minimize “scooching”. Scooching and scooting around the floor on your back when you are over weight is just not attractive and of course just begs some smarty pants to yell “Thar she blows”. Anyway, thought I could release the tightness in my back that is a combo of soreness form yard work and stress. Felt good but the feeling didn’t last long enough. I think it is time for an Aleve, my meditation, a little reading, maybe some TV (anything good on tonight?) and off to bed. Gee, I am just too exciting for words.

Tomorrow I weigh myself; tonight my mediation mantra will be “whoosh…………..whoosh…………whoosh”
