SOSDD, I know what I need to do to get over this hump but have been unwilling to do it.

If I really want to get out of the @#$%@#$^#$$#$!@#$@!#^&%^&%^ 300's, I need to nut up and do eet.

And this after I hit 299 last friday. But as always, after hitting a new low I go out and screw it up. Had beer and breaded wings over the weekend. I didn't care at the time, but as always, now I do that I'm facing the music.

I'll get it back tho.

Note that I've changed my record day to be wednesday instead of tuesday. I finally got my wife serious about losing weight and she suggested a challenge. She wants to weigh on wednesday to try to alleviate the weekend bounce we're both guilty of, so that's...

man, there's just not words right now. I'm so happy and so scared at the same time. I finally got out of the 300's today. I am so ecstatic I it's hard to describe. But I'm also terrified that I'll at some point let myself get back there.

But I won't. Never again will I slip back into that. I've got less to lose now, than I've lost. I've lost 15.5% of my starting weight. I've lost 55 friggin pounds!!!!!! I could just shout that from a rooftop.

It's amazing how much more confident I am in myself knowing that I CAN do this. If I can do this, imagine what else...

yay for being sick! family is passing around the flu bug. I had it sun and mon. not gonna be able to bike to work this week at all b/c of being sick and having meetings, so we'll see if I can carry this into the next week. just gotta stay clean.

gonna go to UF/LSU this weekend too, so that'll be a little bit of work.

I had gone down to 309 at one point last week, but as always, I hit a new low and then I celelbrate and completely fubar it.

oh well.

interesting that cheating a little on the weekends makes you balloon up immediately because of the water retention. If I understand it right, when you eat carbs, your body stores glycogen, and it requires water to store it, so you have immediate weight gain. Then, when you get back on LC, the glycogen gets depleted and the water flushes.

big part of the reason why when you induct, you lose so much so...
