294.6 - 59.8 lbs lost

wow. just wow. It's been a year already since I decided to take control of my life and change for the better.

Gonna post in the main lobby on wednesday because that is the actual day with before and during pics.

I know I could have lost more, but I'm happy with the choices I've made and how I've arrived here. Still got a long way to go, but as others have so eloquently put it, it's not a race to get thin, it's a journey towards good health.

ate lots of crap over the weekend, had a great hash. need to get back to 60lbs lost by Mar 18.

that is 60 lbs lost. holy crap. never in the whole history of anything did I ever think I'd be able to lose this much weight.

I think I'm in shock and still absorbing it. wow, just, wow.

new record low and loss for me. 40 more to go.

that's down a pound or two from last week, so not so bad. Have been doing more of a "does this make sense" type woe lately, rather than strictly low carb. have been adding in fruit juices and more carby foods and sauces lately to see how I react.

2 weeks away from 1 year. WoW. never, never thought I would've had the resolve to do something this long. it truly does have to be viewed as a life change and not just a temporary diet that you'll abandon and revert to.

now if I could only apply that realization to the booze, I'd be doing good....

back in the game. I know my weight is the result of my actions, but I still got pissed last week when I went back over 300. but I'm back in the game now.

have still been eating crappy, and will work on that. went for a great ride on saturday. Interbash 2009 in Frostproof. 14'ish miles, but we must've walked about 2 miles of it because of the sugar sand. great overnight campout too. good times. My wife sounds like she's starting to come around on trying out a foot hash, seems like the biggest problems will be logistics with someone watching the kids.
