Blowing by Construction Traffic

on my bike.
God it's funny. There's an intersection near where I live that is under heavy heavy construction right now. I used to drive thru it 4 times a day, going to work, then home for lunch, then back and again.
Now that I bike I follow that route for a little while until I turn off and cut through a shopping center. But, before I turn off, in the evenings during rush hour traffic gets backed up there for at least a quarter mile by the time I get there biking home from work.
I just blow right by all of them sitting in their cars, waiting for the light to change, and then all the people to realize it's changed, and then to go....you know what it's like sitting in a long line of traffic...by the time the light's changed, 10 more people could have made it through if they would have been paying attention, but nooooo.
I must pass about 10 or 20 cars before I get to my cut through. And I used to be one of them.
You can't see the construction in the google link b/c it's an older passby, but you can get an idea of the size of the intersection. Make sure Satellite view is turned on. Traffic is backed up north along babcock from palm bay rd. Actually, traffic is backed up all directions at that intersection, but I come from the north. Linky
