adjusting the meal plan

Posted 05-01-2008 at 02:32 PM by roamer723
ok, so I got lernt a few things today. first off, thank you again so much to everybody that posted to my menu thread

I'm going to put my current menu down first, then I'm going to come up with a new menu based on expert input from the thread.

Old:
B:
- 8-12oz SF Tang taken with an acid reflux Rx and a BP Rx
- 2 12oz cups coffee with 1 serving SF Davinci's each
- 4 eggs scrambled with sour cream and butter(not real butter, still working through an old package of the fake stuff)
- 3 sausage patties walmart brand regular

L:
- multivitamin, calcium vitamin, fiber pills
- 3'ish cups salad mix, OR
- 1-2 cups broccoli, green beans, etc...(we've been getting the ones that come in a bag and you can steam in the microwave)
- 1 serving of a vinaigrette, ittalian, or ranch salad dressing with salad
- some kind of grilled meat, seasoned heaviliy with Tony Chacherre's Cajun seasoning (way more than 1 serving size prolly); meat is prolly around 8-16 oz depending on if I'm having burgers, porksteak, porkchop, sausage, etc...

S: 1 cup mixed nuts. peanuts, almonds, macademia, etc...salted

D: just repeat a variation of lunch

Bedtime: 5-10 oz hard liquor (have been trying to cut back)

New:
B:
- 8-12oz SF Tang taken with an acid reflux Rx and a BP Rx
- 2 12oz cups coffee with 1 serving SF Davinci's each
- 2-3 eggs scrambled with real butter
- 1-2 sausage patties walmart brand regular

- some kind of grilled meat, seasoned lightly with Tony Chacherre's Cajun seasoning; keep the meat to 8'ish oz per meal

S: maybe some cheese, maybe celery with cream cheese or something, dunno yet. maybe some berries. buh bye nuts!

D: just repeat a variation of lunch

Bedtime: gotta wean myself off the booze. instead of the usual two large whiskeys, the past couple nights they've been 50/50 whiskey and waters

funny thing about the booze is that once you can make it past the initial couple days, it does get better and the cravings get less. But it's oh so easy to fall off.

What's my favorite saying? the monkey on your back is only as big as you feed it.
