I can't help but feel ripped off.
I was on "the list". The list Steve gave to his brother of people to call in the event something happened. Why was I not allowed to say "goodbye"? and pay my respects ?
Why was there no obit? Why did half of Long Island know about it, but I didnt? Why were my friends and I excluded?
It must be a conspiracy.
I still can't get over he's gone.

 There is no excuse for what they have done to you and you have every right to be angry. I wish I could say something to make you feel better but only time heals. |

I agree with cecee. Maybe you could try doing something really special for his grave, something only you two shared or burying a message just for him by the grave! The best healing measure is time, but maybe there's a few personal things you could do along the way!

 You do have a right to be angry. Hopefully with time some of that anger will go away. I don't have any words of wisdom for you.  Just know that I'm thinking of you.  |
