Thank Goodness It's Friday........as long as there are no gatherings this weekend I should be OK.
Thanks dear friends for your kind words. I know you're all correct......I shouldnt beat myself up. This day (Wednesday's WI that is) was sure to come. It's the first week in 20 weeks that I've gained. I was on such a roll.......and when I looked at my booklet, I couldnt understand what +1 meant. I read it over and over.......honestly........I literally lost my mind as I couldn't comprehend what the + meant.
Here's what I need to work on:
Limit Daily snacks to 4-6 points/day (not including apples, cheese & crackers, muffin & jelly, carrots & dip etc). Snacks meaning......100 cals, pretzels, frozen pops, popcorn, kisses/hugs, rice cakes w/drizzle.
Drink water on a consistent basis at meals.
Continue to exercise.
That's all I got.

It's so difficult not to beat yourself up when you've worked so hard!! We see your hard work and efforts and your plan sounds great!!! Maybe try and limit your sodium intake as well! That plus one could have been water retention! My clinic has a Tanita scale that measures every little thing which is awesome because it lets you know if your gaining muscle or holding water! I thought I did great on my water one week, but it still showed me retaining 3 POUNDS of water!! This is just food for thought, but I will be routing for you all the way this week!!!!!

Reg you are doing great. I love the idea of limiting snacks to healthier ones. That is something I strive for as well. Believe it or not our bodies metabolize 100 calories of fruit a lot differently than 100 calories of cookies. It's sad but true.

Girl I missed yesterdays post and I'm sorry about wi but DO NOT beat yourself up. This is a learning process and you learned where you are going wrong so just fix it and get back to your hard work. You really are doing great so dont let some stupid scale ruin your day.
