DD6 goes back to school today.....she's very happy.

DS9 would rather stay home

Another great walking day on Sunday. Day2 of the "new route" (2.2miles) and I did it in 39 minutes (Day 1 was 45minutes). Knowing that I would only earn 2 APs I walked until I hit 45 minutes. I was sweating when finished.

I pass by my house twice yesterday (2nd time should have been my ending point, but needed more minutes) and about a dozen neighbors were outside. When I passed they asked me to join them for a beer and I said "I'll be back in a MILE" They had a beer waiting for me as I turned the corner.

Now......these folks I hang out with all summer.....boozing and stuffing my face. It is certainly going to be a challenge.

I received a lot of compliments "You look great", "KUTGW, I see you walking every morning", "WOW !! Amazing !!" One of the neighbors said a month or so ago when I went up to 1.6miles "Why not go for an even 2.0miles? " he said. So I did......and now I'm up to approx 2.4

Today's plan........volunteering at the school with the Beautification Committee (the students are planting), drop off flyers for my PTA committee to be distributed in school, walk at noon, and hopefully some shopping.

Have great day !!
