Rainy Days and Mondays
The party yesterday was fun. I got to talk to a lot of folks I havent seen in a while. I got a few "you colored your hair" comments yesterday. I took the compliments but really wanted to say "No idiot, I lost weight"
For the first time since starting WW I felt good about the choices I made at a party. I had a raw veggies, a small piece of chicken parm, 10 pieces of baked ziti, a 1x1" brownie, and fruit salad. I passed (again) on the beer and had diet soda instead.
I thought I did good.
My scale, on the other hand doesnt think I did so well, and is laughing at me today. Stupid-ass-piece-of-metal
. I weight the same facing south as I do north.....if I get on the scale with my left foot first I weigh more than if I get on the scale right-foot-first. Oh.....and it's raining. and NO, I'm not going to let the scale dictate the kind of day I have.
The kids go back to school today and I am meeting a friend at Panera (coffee only for me) to work on some PTA stuff.

yes I'm going to not let the scale dictate my day either...because this morning I was close to throwing it out the window....seriously

Just wanna echo what slimdays said, good job at the party! I'm going to a party on Saturday.. I'm going to try and resist alcohol too lol.
Oh and, I did throw my scale out, it was too depressing lol.. I go and weigh myself at the pharmacy, stops me weighing myself 100 times a day  |
