This is the first time I have tried to blog, so I am not sure what I am doing. If it is like a journal than I am cool, know how to do that. I have a weight loss journal, but this is the first one that has been available for others to see and comment on, so this is a new experience for me. Hopefully a benificial experience. Perhaps the sole idea of knowing that others can see what I am doing will help me to maintain better self control. ( at least as long as I write the times I am out of controll as well) Anyway, here I am at 213.8 pounds , more then I have ever weighed in my life. I can blame it on alot of things, but the truth of the matter is that I eat too much and do too little. I usually work 12 night shifts and that leaves me asleep alot, which is not conducive to exercise. I have decided to once again go on the Atkins plan. I have read the updated book and find it to be alot more healthy then previous editions. Heck, it even has a vegatarian section. Anyway, I managed to follow the plan yesterday, even while traveling from Austin to my new job in Del Rio. Here I will be on 8 hour night shifts, so there should be plenty of time to work out. Majik( my dog) has never been opposed to long walks and honestly at my current weight, walking is about all I can do. I will increase the type of exercise I do as I can move around easier. I look foward to hopefully sharing my experience with others so that perhaps we motivate each other to success. Or at least just putting my thoughts on a form of paper and getting them out of my system.
