What You Need To Do Dry Brushing:

To dry brush, use a soft natural fiber brush with a long handle, so that you are able to reach all areas of your body. One with a removable head with a strap for your hand is a good choice.

A loofah sponge or a rough towel can also be used. Most nylon and synthetic fiber brushes are too sharp and may damage skin although I found a softer bath brush with nylon bristles that seems to do the trick. The important thing is to find something...

Posted 06-03-2008 at 04:47 PM by rainbowlaserdragon
The cauliflower cakes are easy, breezy!!!

1 16 oz. bag frozen cauliflower (you could certainly use fresh, I just happened to have a bag in the freezer), cooked for about 8 minutes until soft, drained well then riced or smashed really good
1 egg
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or 1-2 cloves of garlic minced)
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1-2 T. expellar pressed coconut oil

Mix all ingredients (except coconut oil)...

Day? Sorry I've lost track

Posted 06-03-2008 at 03:49 PM by Bibby
Bad/good few days. Very busy, not good for dieting. Had friends visiting, vet trips and the hospital trip on Monday that took 4 hours to get to and 4 hours from, was hot, not much english spoken, busy and the refreshments were a low carbers nightmare. Hope to settle a bit tomorrow otherwise it's ridiculous.

Mood, still upbeat. I am not panicking

I gained .08 this week! So I took the stance of it is okay because it is a lifestyle. I have not had a gain in a long time. (8 weeks) I have been a steady loser. So it happens once in a while.

I know what I did different this week. I had stuff that got out of control. I got sloppy. So I am taking this gain as a wake-up call to get back op.

Hubby asked if I wanted to go out to eat tonite and instead I made us a nice salad and he will be having bison burgers and I will be making my english muffin pizza for my supper.
