Something happened on my way to a lower number...

Something happened on my way to a lower number on my scale, I became healthier.
Has it been a year already? I started my lo-carb life on September 19th 2007.

I was reading a discussion on the very meaning of lo-carb, the basic theory. I started out a year ago kicking and screaming all of the way...now it's a natural choice. I am very happy to be able to say that. However, with that being said, I also know that I will venture off of the path of good health on the occasion. I will also skip a day (or days ) of exercise or do any number of things that may not be good for...

trying for a new attitude

I am struck by my own personal struggle...caught between the realization that it does not matter what diet approach one takes in terms of committment....all approaches require a total change of attitude and action....this is something that really sets me back...for me personally I KNOW that a low carb approach is the ONLY and appropriate approach for me...i just need to find my discipline...I am sick of thinking about diets and dieting but I am also sick and tired of being sick and tired...period...so for now shooting for 80 carbs or less a day and 2000 cals or less....choosing all fresh foods...my...

DAy 4... Watch out Job Rant Below

Down to 186 scale is starting to move again, so I'm thankful for that. Woke up this morning, feeling like to hell with my job. My gut keeps telling me to let it go, it's not doing anything but holding you back but then the bills are screaming but we still gotta get paid This job is becoming more and more of a burden, the pay is good, but it robs me of time that I could be studying and it's not worth it anymore. I have cpr classes sat and sunday along with the cpr exam on sunday, kinsieology test on monday, physiology test tues and a test on wednesday along with a paper due that day. Then...
