Quinoa, a high-protein seed/herb, as part of my LC plan...

She is working in some wild rice and quinoa that I've had on hand but not yet cooked up myself. We are adding these in small amounts, to test their carbs as I battle to lose 200# from my current 400# weight.

Looks like a good plan, creating a meal in a box, with several boxes ready to go in the fridge: 8oz of poached salmon fills half the Glad box, with the remaining half being split between baconfat-basted greens (rich in...

I am feeling really good here today after being 100% yesterday. I have to remember how this feels so that next time I want to binge it helps me refrain. I am using some of the tools i have learned last week including breathing techniques and "being" my word. I cant wait to have more tools to help me fight this. But, for today I will fight, I am feeling strong again, and in control. I like this feeling

Stalled/Gaining - 9/27/08

I'm actually a pound up for the week, although I won't officially weigh until Monday. My body sure is being stubborn this time around. I'm going to try just chicken, eggs, and lettuce today and tomorrow and see what happens. I think I'm on a plataeu.

Monday I get weighed at my workplace and if I haven't lost any weight, I won't get the prize. Those silly little prizes sure are a lot of incentive to lose. Only one more weigh-in after this Monday. But my workplace is starting another program on October 27 that will keep us honest through the holidays. I am grateful that...

My Body is a Fat Burning Machine!!

Posted 09-27-2008 at 05:12 AM by StartingOver
Just putting that out there... They say you get what you put out there, so lets see

I'm still at 185, and not complaining at least it's not up! I've got a CPR class all day today so that should be fun *rollseyes*

Still going strong, today is day 6 cheat free and I'm proud of myself and hey 5 lbs in 6 days isn't to shabby! Even though the first 3 were gone on the 2nd day

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
