Sugar Alcohols... OMG!!!!

So, I've read all of the horror stories of others about the dangers of to many sugar alcohols at once. But did I listen?! Nahhhh I was at the store the other day and it's TOM so on a whim I picked up a bag of sugar free mini reece cups. Normally I never even think about those things but that day I had to have them. Anywho, yest after lunch I decided to have 1, well that one turned into 2 into 3 and before I knew it I had ate 6!!!!! I was fine for the first couple hours afterward, but then as I was preparing to leave for class the rumbling began, the kind where you immediately have to run to the...

My TFF (chicknlittle) has inspired me to workout. Got in 35 mins today. Tomorrow I have day 2 of the pushup challenge, and will prolly get another 30 min of the gazelle... taking thursday off... then friday more pushups and gazelle or video... Not sure about the weekend yet.. but i have a plan people! I am officially joining a thanksgiving challenge (on another site) and the first weigh in is tomorrow. So... there's no backing down now!

Well I think my blog description tells the short version of the story. Back in 1999-2000, I low-carbed my way to a 70 pound weight loss in about 6 months. I felt better than I had in years! After I was firmly "in the groove" with my eating, shopping, menu planning, and having lost the cravings for the sugar and flour, I decided "Now it is time to quit smoking"!

A great idea of course, but I was seriously unprepared for nicotine withdrawal. Oh, I had quit before, sometimes for a year or two at a time, and, you do get through it. But, I needed to cope with

Day 9..Down 3 More lbs!!!

Nine days into this and I'm doing ok. My weight loss has slowed down, but that's ok. I knew I couldn't keep losing 11 lbs a week, lol.. anyway, I got on the scale this morning and I'm down 3 more lbs! yay!!

I had broiled talapia last night with jalopenas and peppercheese and butter sauce. And a salad. All together it was about 7 carbs. I never am very good at figuring out the salad. But I just grab a handful of pre shredded salad mix from the bag in the fridge...add bacos and crumbled pork skins and about 2-3 tbsp of ranch dressing.
This morning I'm not hungry...but...
