YOU: First Rate in 2008 ( 01/02/08 )

Posted 01-02-2008 at 06:23 AM by jezzie
Share your gifts and talents
listen with your heart.
Do the things you dream about
but don't have time to start.

Pick a bouquet of flowers
show someone that you care,
Be gracious and forgiving
life is never fair.

Hold on to your courage
you may need it down the road,
We all have a cross to bear
it could be a heavy load.

If you practice all these things
no matter where you roam,
You may find both sun and rain
but you'll never feel alone.

Finally Going to Do this in 2008

Posted 01-01-2008 at 08:42 PM by lowcarb4Cheryl
I have visited this site many times in the past few years. I've been on and off low carb with pretty good success. I've also tried every other diet in the world (or it seems like it!) I'm not sure whether a blog will work for a journal or if I need to join in on one of the message boards. They all seem like they would work. Anyway, I've fluctuated in my weight all my adult life. I've lost over 100 pounds 4 different times. I'm ready for this to be the last time I have to lose a substantial amount of weight. I'm not quite 100 pounds overweight, but I have almost that much to lose. Yesterday,...

I have to do this!

Posted 01-01-2008 at 01:46 PM by susie41
I don't know where to start, but one thing is for certain I have to start somewhere. I know that LC works. I lost 65 pounds 5 years ago, I just did not keep it off. Here I am again, already doubting myself and not feeling committed. I know that in order to be successful this has to become a lifestyle. I am patient with everything but weight loss. When I stall, I quit. This time has to be different.
