Day 1: Atkins '72

Posted 09-27-2009 at 12:33 AM by MeekNHumble
Okay, so I decided to start Atkins '72 again. I lost 30 pounds since delivering my baby boy on July 31st. Now it's time to lose the remaining 40+ pounds. My ultimate goal is 150!!

Along with following Atkins '72 - I plan to RUN - SPIN - and SWIM atleast 3-4 days per week while resting on the weekends.

I'm still suffering from the Pregnancy Induced Hypertension and my bp is being controlled by meds. My goal is to lose these unwanted pounds so I can get off these pills for good!!

I truly believe diet and exercise will help me do just that!!

Day 2 of the long journey

Posted 09-26-2009 at 02:35 PM by JJordanJ
Breakfast finally at 3 PM -- eggs, Duliner cheese, softened onion, pepper, mushroom. One cup of coffee with a dash of brown sugar Torani syrup ( or I should say half, it was dreadful). A long pull from the Hinckley Camel Hump.

Supplements: ester-c, astraxanthin, fish/flax/borage.

My scale says that I lost seven pounds from yesterday to today but I'm ignoring that. I probably joggled the scale at some point during my incessant trips to the bathroom.

Off to the library. I need a better copy of War and Peace, this one is ancient and belonged to my mother...

Rainy day

Posted 09-26-2009 at 12:49 PM by Looweewoo
Sorta stuck in the apartment. I mean I could go out, but only to spend money, and why do all that when I can watch the rain from here?

I was planning on doing some LC recipe cooking... trying to get a little variety back in my LC Diet. I would have to go out to the store for some of that, but I'm gonna pass, while still maybe making a few things for the freezer out of what I have here already.

Hmmm... I could walk down to the music store, it's under eaves most of the way and I need new guitar strings.

Yeah... that's the plan! cya

The miracle cure!

Posted 09-26-2009 at 12:29 PM by NorthernLight
CardioC is, really, a wonderful thing.

Just finished one full hour. My back doesn't hurt anymore! Slight discomfort during right leg lifts, but I took those veery lightly.

Also, in the evolution part I really did take it easy on those more intense exercises on the lower back.

I'm so relieved!

One more day, one more gallon.

Posted 09-26-2009 at 11:52 AM by JJordanJ
Yesterday on my induction shopping trip I bought exactly fourteen gallons of Hinckley Springs water in those big plastic cartons. Its so much water -- when I'm all done I'll have fourteen perfectly good water-transport carafes, which I wish I could think of a better use for. If this were saudi arabia I could refill them and use them to festoon my camel.

I also bought a hundred dollar bottle of Beringer Cabernet which I plan to open on day fifteen of True induction. I've been avoiding doing this for months because I *hate* True Induction and how it makes me feel, but it's the only...
