First Weigh In Today

Well, had my first weigh in, down 6 lbs! That is in less than a week too! Wednesday will make me officially on A72 for one full week.

I need to start doing cardio. I have been working out with Jeremy at home, but I need to bump it up more for sure.

From the ketostix it looks as though I am in ketosis.

Protein Pasta? hmmm...

I just received an email for a new product--Zoned pasta! Apparently, you just add fat in the form of evoo or parm cheese or something to balance it in the Zone way, but it has about 20 grams of protein in a serving. Very interesting. My DH loves pasta so I ordered some for him to try. I would guess even if the pasta is zone-balanced, it would impede my weight loss progress. I do best with just veggies, as boring as they may be!

On to my menu:
B: latte' and almonds
L: chicken breast, salad, blue cheese
S: beef jerky, green peppers, almonds
D: egg white...

One month 'til Valentine's Day. Planning ahead.

Without a sweetheart, one wonders what to do with Valentine's Day. Maybe something special from me to me...but NOT anything chocolate!

Might be a great day for me to spend on my feet, giving feet (and hands) a soaking and creaming.

So many of us do very little for ourself. Selfish? How bad a thing can it be, to take good care of one's own Self? By caring for ourSelf, we learn to offer care to others. I'm going to spend the next 30days being My Best Friend, caring for my Self, as I prepare for the day devoted to sweethearts and lovers. Sigh.

Yesterday's menu:

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs fried in butter with 1/2 slice cheddar cheese, 2 strips of bacon
Lunch/Dinner: meat loaf, green beans, broccoli & cheese

Weight is the same today.
