Yesterday's menu:

Breakfast: boiled egg, sausage patty
Lunch: meat loaf, pizza toppings
Dinner: meat loaf, spinach, 2 dark chocolate squares

Today's weight is 273.5.

Hello everyone. Another newbie

Hi everyone. My name is Saundra. I have been a lurker for sometime. I have eaten low-carb off and on for a year or so. Always lost some weight but gained it back, because I fell off plan. I went back on induction 1/5/08 and actually doing very well this time. I've been working out and drinking my water. My first weigh in will be this Saturday. I just wanted to say that this site is very inspirational. So many of you have really touched me and I know this will work for me if I just stay with it. Thanks everyone!

Wobbly and milky

I've had a wobbly couple of days, not counting properly, though I'm pretty sure on Tuesday I can't have gone over 20, never mind the 25 carbs I should now be on for OWL! Had a small cheat yesterday.It was only some milk. The barista in Statbucks just up and gave me a freebie when I commented that something someone else was having sounded nice. Wasn't a milky style drink, just milk in an Americano, with some sugar free hazelnut syrup. Well it's not in my nature to turn down free stuff, and the milk was all frothy... what could I do? Hey, at least I didn't have a piece of cake or something!...

Shame never works to lift my spirits. I prefer using praise. Forgiving myself is also a good tool. I learned that from Kitty Carlisle Hart, who said that the last thing she does at night is to say to herself, "Kitty, I forgive you" - just that - so simple, so elegantly simple! A new day, a new beginning!

Well I'm up this morning full of energy and motivation. I was hungry too but I filled up with lovely red grapes!!! so tasty! I have a wee box packed of grapes for when I get hungry during the day.

I really and sticking to this today and it feels good!

I love working out and I do it everyday normally except a saturday. I do jogging, the gym, skipping, dancing...just whatever makes me sweat!lol! buuuutttt i'm really annoyed my feet are really sore this morning....i think i should have a rest day but I hate breaking my routine! damn! oh well....i think i will...
