I Passed The Test

Today I was really put to the test. Again, out of no where, I started having doubts about myself. I started feeling like I still had so far to go, and that maybe I should just give up. It all started when I went shopping. I tried on clothes and nothing fit me, nothing. I wanted to cry right there in the store. I was sure, after losing 15lbs, that something would fit me. I left and came home in tears. I told Jeremy about it and true to form, he was my hero. He said everything I needed to hear.

A few hours later, we bought 3 new workout videos. I decided to put that energy into something...

Getting Caught Up

Fell asleep last night and did not get to post yesterday's menu -- So just to record the carbs - total carbs for 1-30-08 = 23 carbs.

Weighed this morning and I am still at 286 --- having lost 20 lbs in 4 weeks. Now, I am not complaining, but I have been at that weight for over a week..... ready for a whoosh or whatever it is called. Think I got spoiled with how quickly those first 20 lbs left.... Good riddance!!

Today's Menu:

Breakfast: Egg, bacon - 1 carb
Snack: Atkins bar - 2 carb
Lunch: cheeseburger, lettuce, tomato slice,...

Newbie here!! HELP!!

Ok, first time here!!! Hope I'm doing this right.

I just found out I am pre-diabetic so I have to watch my carbs. This is like a totally new way of eating to me. Trying to learn it all, but so far I'm not liking it at all

I'm down eleven pounds! And I have not craved fast food nor wanted to cheat since I started this WOE! I'm not going to give up on myself this time. I'm gonna make it to the finish line!

I feel myself slipping

...on that slippery slope.I don't know if it's because we've all been cooped up on account of the freezing temps or what.I did get out today and shovelled in front of the garbage as it's garbage day today.I had started my workout this morning as I've missed the last few days and then I was interrupted as one of the kids awoke early.I'm fatigued and weakening.
Yesterday I had cereal for breaky,some ham to munch on in the afternoon and then a bowl of soup and oatmeal before bed.
Today I had a small cinnamon bun(why I don't know-because it was there)and a piece of chicken.For dinner...
