Yesterday my husband and I had to go his sister's engagement party. I had told him ahead of time that I was a little worried that there wouldn't be any LC food available while we were there. He said, "I'm sure we'll find something...it'll be fine."

Well, we get there, and the food is lasagna, spaghetti, garlic bread, and of course, cake. I mean there wasn't even any salad. It was a LCer's nightmare buffet. Lat night was my friend Elka's 30th b-day. We all went to a bar to celebrate. Of course, everyone was drinking wine and I once again, I didn't give in. I SOOO wanted a glass, just ONE small glass of wine. Not sure how I keep doing it, but I didn't have any, not even that small glass. When we left, I was smiling the entire way home, feeling so proud of myself once again. This is finally starting to become a real way of life for me!

People are finally starting to really notice my weight loss too! When I hear someone say, "WOW, you look great!" .. it gives me that much more...

Travel Day today. Going to really miss my hunny bunny, but she's in good hand with daddy. I'll be in CA all week.

Very sore this morning. (Was yesterday too.)
Will do my cardio this morning before getting on the plane. I know I will not do it tonight when I get to CA since I have to go to the grocery store to pick up food for my hotel room.

My plan for eating this week will be to get induction friendly foods from a grocery store since my room has a microwave and fridge. I'll borrow a glass bowl and steel fork, spoon, knife from the hotel so that I can cook...

so in the muscle matters there is an offtopic oil cleaning method for your face. I did it last night and today and my face FEELS OUTSTANDING!..
I also started oil pulling this am with coconut oil and a few drops of oregno oil, then brushing my teeth with bakingsoda and seasalt.
I hope this all starts to work (the oil pulling more)

Just ordered scales as a way of admitting that I am COMPETENT to manage a weight-loss program by facing facts daily. Yes, I've been talking about buying scales someday, like when I hit 199#. But fact is that at 64 I am easily twice that weight, give or take a stone (14#) or two. I'll find out for sure in a few days, when my talking scale arrives. Happy b'day to me!
