Day 2 - Induction.

Posted 02-11-2008 at 08:46 PM by huff576
Day 2 went well. I controlled the carb intake much more easily than I expected. I had small cravings, but when I closely examined how my stomach felt, I was not hungry. Made an awesome pork stirfry to crush the evening cravings!

This morning, I weighed myself just to see where I was. Lost 5 lbs (water weight). Still fun to see though. The diet amazes me at how quick it acts on me.

Did not exercise. Too tired this morning, too lazy this evening. Looking forward to warm weather again....walking with the fam!

Fooling my Feast Beast...Yay, ME!!!

Posted 02-11-2008 at 06:34 PM by Zer
While I was posting somewhere, I realized that this might make a great topic, so I'm giving it a trial by posting it in my own BLOG, just to see if it tickles anyone the way it tickles me.

As I approach my prime, I'm learning how to outfox my Feast Beast. My Feast Beast is not awfully bright. Greedy, but not awfully bright.

Trickling a few drops of balsamic vinegar onto a mess of mashed sardines in olive oil got my Feast Beast thinking it was an illicit treat. No fooling. Sardines! Yay!!! If you agree with me that's something to celebrate, feel free to join me...

Oh no.

Posted 02-11-2008 at 12:25 PM by amithereyet
I have had the most horrendous eating schedule the last few days. I haven't been getting the veggies in because I haven't been cutting them up to get them ready...I have just been grabbing whatever and running. So it's ended up I either eat way too much of crap or not enough for the day for about the last four days. I need to get back into it! Last night I tried to roast up my three chicken breasts for the week while I worked. I asked my husband to yell at me when the timer went off. Well, he didn't! So today I don't have my lunch and I will once again grab something. I did have time to grab a...

Day 28 Mon 11Feb08

Home scale was down again this am. Getting pretty excited about that. It said 163.5. I am feeling confident that the official weigh in tomorrow should be down from two weeks ago, just not sure by how much.

Feeling good today. Brought a big brunch to work.
Cardio this afternoon. Looking forward to it since it means leaving work

Did 1 hr on the bike today since the gym was so full and no ellipticals available.
Hungry for my chicken/turkey salad (wish I had calories for dressing, but I don't) and looking forward to a bath after Chloe goes to bed.

Seeing into the future.

I am taking the 'thinking' out of my approach. This has been going on for too long and I am not getting anywhere. Honestly I feel like a really fat hamster spinning on a wheel.

As I watched the New Year come in I decided that this year was to be the year for things to turn around. This year I would accomplish many of the things on my list that I have shed tears over.

I watched The Secret on video and I had that 'light bulb moment'. I was getting exactly what I gave out, from $$ issues to my weight and health. I expected to be upside down in bills every month...
