My home scale said 163.5
Made my day....then I bumped my Acura with the Suburban. Oh well, I'll just have the fixed.....it's only money.

Going to the movies tonight with the mom's group. Looking forward to it....I'll have to be sure I eat before or bring something I can snack on. It'll be a late night.

I made it to the gym early. Got my 1hr of cardio.

The movie was great. I ate a small dinner before leaving and brought some turkey chunks and 2 oz cheese with me. Worked out great. I had a large diet coke...

YOU: Taking Time for Coffee

I love reading Judith Warner in the New York Times.
The subject today: Coffee. Here is an excerpt:

I’d had a feeling for some time that there was something worth writing about coffee. My attachment to it. My desire to draw my children into it.

My repugnance for a world where, when people stop by your house, on the way from there to there with never a moment for here, they stand in the doorway, cell phone in one hand, water bottle in the other, too peripatetic to even entertain the notion of sitting down for a warm drink.

Daily Update - Thursday

Hi everyone!

At 213 this morning. Total for this month = -8 :kicking:

Here's my menu:

B - 3 scrambled eggs
S - SF Vanilla Americano with 4 teaspoons heavy cream
L - 3 more scrambled eggs, with Franks Red Hot
D - Garlic Shrimp and salad with blue cheese

96+ ounces of water

Totals: Cals 1010, Fat 65, Carbs 7, Protein 94

I Passed The Test

Today I was really put to the test. Again, out of no where, I started having doubts about myself. I started feeling like I still had so far to go, and that maybe I should just give up. It all started when I went shopping. I tried on clothes and nothing fit me, nothing. I wanted to cry right there in the store. I was sure, after losing 15lbs, that something would fit me. I left and came home in tears. I told Jeremy about it and true to form, he was my hero. He said everything I needed to hear.

A few hours later, we bought 3 new workout videos. I decided to put that energy into something...

Getting Caught Up

Fell asleep last night and did not get to post yesterday's menu -- So just to record the carbs - total carbs for 1-30-08 = 23 carbs.

Weighed this morning and I am still at 286 --- having lost 20 lbs in 4 weeks. Now, I am not complaining, but I have been at that weight for over a week..... ready for a whoosh or whatever it is called. Think I got spoiled with how quickly those first 20 lbs left.... Good riddance!!

Today's Menu:

Breakfast: Egg, bacon - 1 carb
Snack: Atkins bar - 2 carb
Lunch: cheeseburger, lettuce, tomato slice,...
