Need some goals

I think I need some real, concrete goals. Let's see, how about my first goal is for my jeans to fit better? Aagh, the waistband is killing me. Anyway, maybe to lose 10 lbs by next quarter? That would be March 25th, 5 weeks from today. Okay, I can do that, that's only 2 lbs a week! I'll weigh in tomorrow since I haven't in soooo long.

B: latte' and almonds
S: several handfuls of peanuts
L: garlic shrimp and cucumbers
D: taco salad I think
S: 1/2 zone bar

I ate too many peanuts for a snack so I didn't add any fat in for lunch.

Day 2 of Stillman's (for an atkins '72er)

B: 2 Hardboiled Eggs
L: 1 Grilled Chicken Breast, 1/2 c cottage cheese (ate out, so I hope there wasn't too much fat!)
D: Delmonico Steak (avoiding the fat - my doggie will love me!)
S: will try to avoid having one. eating dinner late.

This morning, I broke my stall.. I went from 192 to 188 over night, yeah really! I nearly fell over. What more motivation do I need to have to stick with this???

My goal is to look HOT for vacation in July... I have 20 weeks from today, if I average 2 pounds...

I had a few days off from working out. I was busy with assignments, life, Valentine's, etc.!! I can't let it get too far gone! So....

Workout

30 min elliptical
5 min on treadmill
15 min muscle training

Day 36 Tue 19Feb08 Weigh In Day

Weighed In today and the official contest scale said 161.8 lbs!!! That's 2 lbs from last week!!

Progress:
15Jan08: 178 lbs
22Jan08: 171.4 lbs
29Jan08: 167.8 lbs
12Feb08: 163.8 lbs
19Feb08: 161.8 lbs
16.2 lbs lost to date.

Funny - my new lucky number must be 8. Not sure what is up with the .8 at every weigh in

Sure does feel good to have an official 2 lb loss since my home scale has been bouncing around.

Feeling good today. No back cramps!!

Strength training day. Did 15 min...

Really Stressed

Recently we found out that my oldest brother has stage 4 lung cancer which has spread and his wife is terminal with the same cancer. she is bed ridden and wont be able to do chemo or radiation but he is doing both. I am the one taking him to all of his treatments and stuff and it is so hard to watch someone you love go through this. I feel like I am re living losing my father to cancer 11 years ago. We live far from everything so the driving everyday is hard on me. I know this has nothing to do with losing weight but I need to get it out and I dont want my brother to ever feel as if his a bother...
