Looking forward to the New Year!

I can feel it in my bones. Yes, this year will be different! I am ready to make a new start with my spiritual, physical, social, and mental health. I have realized that if these components are not harmony with each
other you will not succeed. I will learn how to eat. No diets any more for me. I need something that will last a lifetime, not something for a while.

Day 3

Posted 01-03-2008 at 06:11 PM by RunnerKim
Well, I don't have a cold, I have the flu and strep throat. ugh! I have never felt so sick! I feel like I'm swallowing razor blades.

Finally sucked it up and went to the doctors today. Got a prescription of antibiotics which I'm waiting for them to kick in.

The positive is that I got weighed at the doctors office and I'm down to 182 lbs. I guess there is a benefit when you can't swallow anything but soup.

Seriously though...here is what I had today:

B: 1 WW blueberry muffin
L: not sure. I think I missed lunch

Induction Day 3

Posted 01-03-2008 at 03:05 PM by junkfoodmonkey
Felt a bit oogy due to TOM coming on, and didn't exercise because of that.

Carbs just under 20. Got eight glasses of water no problem.

...but my New Year's resolution is to lose the weight.
I was 180(April2000) when I started LCing the first time after my 2nd child.
I got down to about 140 and LC through my next pregnancy and lost the baby weight easily and got down to 130.
Then I got pregnant with my fourth child and put on significant weight. When I left the hospital (March2004) I weighed 165.He turns four in March and yesterday when I checked I weighed 166.Yikes!
I've stayed pretty true to LC but I also had a tubal ligation, turned 40 etc...so this needs to be factored in plus I don't exercise with...
