Maintaining...

Posted 03-06-2008 at 08:48 PM by amithereyet
I guess it could be worse, I could be gaining. Plus I did have way too much coffee for the last two days AND had peanut M&M's! Aagh! Why do I do this?

B: latte' and almonds
L: latte' and peanuts
S: not hungry
D: not hungry
S: we'll see

I know I didn't eat enough but I just do not feel hungry. In fact I feel really full and am wondering if I drank too much water? Or maybe it's the psyllium husk powder--just started taking that too. I've been reading about it on these boards so I thought I'd give it a try. I don't mind it, just tastes...

My Fat Loss Journey for 5 Months by sonvaz

I'm new here and started somewhere else with a journal, but like this site so am switching. My story with my weight now is simple, I want to lose it, I've just lost patience and at 32 , after gaining my weight in my 20's and never losing it during that time I want to be comfortable in my own body again. I did lose 40 pounds about a year ago and maintained it , although I didn't go about it in a healthy way, didn't eat enough so I'm doing it the "right" way this time...

I started with wanting to try a CKD which is popular with bodybuilders but changed my mind and am planning...

Mindless eating

Posted 03-06-2008 at 04:19 PM by xbumblebeex
why did I have to go and do that!

I mean it wasn't totally crazy eating, but I certainly wasn't hungry!

I only did it because I was stressed!

I need to find other ways of dealing with stress. Eating when I'm not hungry only makes me more stressed.

At least I have only had one day this week of doing that. I have really concentrated hard on identifying true hunger. I know that I will still make mistakes.

I guess nobody is perfect.

So change of plan. I am going to weigh in next on the 16 March...

The Food Police are not happy!

Posted 03-06-2008 at 02:36 PM by xbumblebeex
But I don't care! I am getting rid of these gusy for good!

I had a small cheese toastie tonight and it was soooo good! I was hungry for it, I enjoyed it, why should I deny myself it?

I satisfied myself so this equals no overeating and no binging for me!

I really love IE and I really want to stick at it and make it work for me.

I also need to try and not live my life my the numbers of the scale. It is about my health, my happiness, how I look and feel, and how my clothes fit.

I've never "blogged" before, so this is new to me. I'm going to use this as a journal, a record, of my progress.

This is day 9 of LCE, and I have decided that I'm being impatient with the scale, which has only showed a loss of three pounds. I have cut my blood sugar by 2/3 in just nine days, which seems phenomenal to me, and that should be enough.

But boy oh boy, I want to see something on the scale that wows me. I worry that I have missed that "golden opportunity" that I've read so much about. This isn't my first time down this road, so of...
