Intuitive Eating #2

Posted 03-11-2008 at 04:42 AM by xbumblebeex
Hunger level - 5

This morning I got up and wasn't very hungry. So I got some chores done etc and then thought hmmm I might feel a little hungry. I drank a glass of water just to see if it was thirst first...but no I'm sure it was hunger. So, I prepared some grapes, started to eat them and then just didn't feel hungry anymore! So I put them in a tub for later.

This is real progress for me because I would have just eaten them anyway while on a "diet" because they would have been on the "allowed" list.

I really think I am slowly...

Changing back

Posted 03-10-2008 at 10:27 PM by fancyface
Changing my settings back.... I think my nosy coworker has lost interest --- and if she reads something enlightening for her, then so be it.

Miss my blogging. Been away for quite a bit, but still been reading and posting to threads. Today marked another loss, bringing me to 34 lbs gone since Jan. 3rd.

My next mini goal is to be to 260 by Mother's Day. I am at 272 now and feel it is completely doable..... and maybe lose even more by then.

My family is heading on a mini vacation to the beach this weekend. I am so ready! All of my shorts are...

Week 2

Posted 03-10-2008 at 09:45 PM by jacquejohnson
Well this is week 2..not to bad. I lost 6 pounds from the first week. I had a beer festival to go to and thought it would set me back to the begining. But I did alright. I walked 6 out of the 7 days and did light upper body workout. I ate the right things today. Chicken breast, salad, steak, Grilled veggies, and nuts. Hopefully My numbers will be better tomorrow. My goal by friday is 158. Wish me luck

Motivational Note

Posted 03-10-2008 at 02:01 PM by s1mon3
"No matter how good or how right you are, the reality is that some people don't want to see you shine. You may have to work harder to prove yourself because of your gender, race, age, education, gifts, achievements, family, friends, favor, talent, charisma, social standing or your looks. It's not fair, but it happens. Only the strong survive.

Jealousy is a cancer that is unfortunately in our families, workplace, church, schools, and community. Once you have a deeper sense of self-esteem, self- worth and purpose, it can intimidate others, but it is also your strength....
