Menu:

Meal 1 - Cottage Cheese Cereal
Meal 2 - 3 oz Sirloin Steak
Meal 3 - Cottage Cheese Cereal
Meal 4 - 2 Salt Cod Patties
Meal 5 - Gr. Beef & Sausage with Veggies, ACV
Meal 6 - Cottage Cheese Cereal

Calories - 1743
Fat - 137 (69%)
Carbs - 48 (6%)
Fiber - 20
Net Carbs - 28
Protein - 108 (24%)

Week 3 - Day 1

Day 15 and it's back to low carb, low calorie.
It always feels good to get back to bacon & eggs after I've had a high carb day.

I'm trying to incorpoate Paul McKenna's advice into my day. It's all good advice but it's a lot to remember. I do put my fork down after each bite and chew my food at least 20 times, even though I look like a dufus. I try not to eat while watching tv or reading (that's a hard one). I try to leave some food on my plate (another hard one). I have not closed my eyes yet to receive messages from my stomach on whether it's full or not (because I...

Week 2 - Day 7

Day 14, high carb, high calorie.

It's two weeks since I started carb cycling with one more week to go before weigh in. I'm torn between wanting to know and not wanting to know what I weigh. If the number isn't down, I'll be down. If my weight goes up or even stays the same, I'll start seeing all the postives of cycling in a negative light. Should I allow that to happen?

Not being influenced by a number on the scale means I have to rely on different criteria to judge how I'm doing. Now I go by how I feel and how my clothing fit. Am I hungry or am I satisfied? Do I...

Meal 2 - 8 oz Steak with sauteed veggies in EVOO (divided into 2 meals), ACV
Meal 3 - Cottage Cheese Cereal
Meal 4 - Steak Meal Again
Meal 5 - Cottage Cheese Cereal
Meal 6 - Turkey Soup

Calories - 1757
Fat - 125 (66%)
Carbs - 32 (4%)
Fiber - 15
Net Carbs - 17
Protein - 130 (30%)

Water - 120 oz
Exercise - 1 Hour Kickboxing Class & Walking

It's a good thing that I enjoy spending hours juggling foods and numbers in fitday. It's become almost a full-time job, hopefully with great fringe benefits. LOL

Menu:

Meal 1 - 7 oz Pork Loin, Veggies & Goat cheese, (divided into 2 meals) 2 Eggs, ACV
Meal 2 - Cottage Cheese Cereal
Meal 3 - Pork Loin Meal, ACV
