My first week back on ATKINS in 3 years AND first blog ever!

Wow this is my first blog ever. Yipee!

So I have come back to the website after about a 3 year hiatus. Hubby and I started lowcarbing in January 2003, and we did well in the first year. DH about 120 pounds, and I lost almost 80. The second year we didn't really lose weight. We started upping the carbs too much. Low carbing was getting lots of attention at that time, and there were tons of low carb products out there, and we were eating way too much low carb junk food. We managed to maintain our weight loss, which was great, but we had so much farther to go, and we were getting...

Home scale was up to 155!
Does not surprise me, but I've got to get it down again.

Did cardio this morning and will do some again tonight.

Week 1 - Day 3

It's Day 3, another low carb, low calorie day.

Yesterday was another excessive hunger day. I didn't realize until the last two days how much I'd let carb and higher calories creep into my day...most of it in the form of fat. I'm glad that I started cycling since this is a good way to get back into strict low carb, low calorie eating for 5 out of 7 days a week.

My quads were cramping in bed last night, and boy was it painful. In fact just turning over in bed was an ugly experience. The only other time I had had any cramping was in a calf when I first started...
