Scale moving again at last! Down 1 and 3/4 lbs!

Meal prep day today, I'm really starting to enjoy doing that. Feels so satisfying once it's all done. I'll make a crustless quiche for breakfasts this week.

Daily Update - Saturday

Wow. Today = bad. All I've eaten was a little Dreamfields (maybe a cup, cooked) and a pork chop. I had my coffee this morning, SF Chocolate Americano with heavy cream. I picked up the sf choc Torani today at World Market.. I like it. Once I found out that the Starbucks Mocha syrup has carbs in it I stopped getting those. This Torani is definitely a good replacement.

I'm not hungry but I know I should eat something else today. Hopefully tomorrow I'll see some movement on the scale. (Speaking of scale, I've been thinking about getting one of those new ones that measures your body fat %. I think that would be a good thing to know... Next time I'm at the store I'll have to look for them.)

Alright.. Hopefully I'll have something to report tomorrow. Bye!

Saturday Reflections

http://www.inch-aweigh.com/water.html is a website that I came across which explains the water issue and actually says what I read before about the extra 8 ounces for every 25lbs overweight you are. Okay, okay --- gonna drink my water. I actually have 128 ounces in today and it was not too difficult to do.

Today's menu:
Atkins shake
cheeseburger
lettuce
tomato
hot dogs
coleslaw
peanuts
Atkins bar
HF ball
4 cheese cubes
Total carbs: 18-20 carbs
20 ounce diet coke
12 ounce cf diet mtn...

Working out Today??

The last few days I have not seen the gym. I have been way busy and have not utilized the time I do have to get to the gym wisely. I used to have the mantra that said get it done first thing then it's out of the way. I need to get back to that before a week rolls by and I haven't been in the gym!

I will make a conscious effort today to get in some workout and sweat like crazy! I can't mess up a good thing!

It's been exactly just one week since I started and I've lost 6 lbs. That is far more than I expected! I am thinking this rate of loss will probably slow down, but as long as I can still lose at least 2 lbs per week then I still consider it a huge success.

I read somewhere that it doesn't really matter how many calories you have in a whole day, but rather how many you have at each meal. I wonder how true this is.
