Argh!!!

Posted 02-09-2008 at 12:01 PM by bav
Some guys had to come to my house today (warranty) to fix something with the floor in the kitchen/dining room. They initially quoted 2 hours, total. They've been here since 8:00 this morning and it's already 1:00PM!!! They have to come back tomorrow and finish.. They're saying the problem was worse than they were told. Shoot, at least I'm not paying for it!!!! The only thing I can use in my kitchen right now is my microwave and espresso machine. (BUT... I can't use my espresso machine though because of my little experiment....see 'EVIL SPLENDA' blog.) GRRR

I guess I can have salad for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Awesome! :annoyed:

Home scale said 166 this am.
I was not thrilled, but I actually think that TOM has something to do with it.

I think by Tuesday's official weigh in I should be at about 163 and that would be 4 lbs since the last official weigh in two weeks ago. That would put me at 2 lbs per week.

If I level out at 2 lbs per week for the next month it would be great. I know a stall will be coming, so racking up now will help me stay on track.

I don't have a plan for breaking my stall when it comes. I should be thinking about that. Maybe switching my exercise...

Changing settings

Posted 02-09-2008 at 07:23 AM by fancyface
Changing settings to only allow buddies to see my blog. My troublesome coworker also wanted to know yesterday which websites I check out. While I hope she does check the site out and learn some things, I really do not want to stir up anything by her inadvertently reading some of my blog entries. Also, I really need the opportunity to vent without the entire office I work in finding out everything I vent about.

Regrouping

Posted 02-09-2008 at 07:15 AM by fancyface
We go to the Circus - 2/9/08 - goal weight = 280.

We go to the beach - 3/14/08 - goal weight = 270.

Well, missed my first mini goal by a bit. Stats since Jan 3 are now 306/283/145, so you can see I am 3 lbs over for my 2/9/08 goal. Not going to stress too much though, because I love that I have lost 23 lbs since Jan 3. Just got to regroup and focus on getting some more exercise between now and 3-14, so hopefully, I can still meet my mini goal of being down to 270 by March 14.

Have a great weekend!!

YOU: Observing and Laughing

People are too funny. An article that caused outrage said:

"Let's be realistic, anyone driving through a window to pick up foods is on no sort of diet. None of it is good for your health, just accept it."

The audacity of this person to even suggest that McDonald's scrambled eggs, cooked in trans fat, are not good for you? After all - they are low carb. lol.

And, having a laugh at my own expense:

Back in 2003 all that mattered to me was if something was low carb. I even ate those disgusting little Vienna sausages in the...
