I think that I'm liking this IF stuff!

Today I weighed in at 149lbs.
I'm happy with this. I hope to be down some more by the time of my official weigh in day on Wednesday. Magic Wednesday, so named by a friend that weighs in on that day as well.
I tried to give my scales up but am forced to admit, I'm addicted. Is that another form of an eating disorder? Probably, but I would rather have a scale addiction than gain back the weight I have worked so hard to lose. I gave my scales up for a week and gained 5 lbs. I may have gotten adjusted eventually but am not ready to stop my progress just yet. I have 5 months untill...

Rainy Days and Mondays

The party yesterday was fun. I got to talk to a lot of folks I havent seen in a while. I got a few "you colored your hair" comments yesterday. I took the compliments but really wanted to say "No idiot, I lost weight"

For the first time since starting WW I felt good about the choices I made at a party. I had a raw veggies, a small piece of chicken parm, 10 pieces of baked ziti, a 1x1" brownie, and fruit salad. I passed (again) on the beer and had diet soda instead.

I thought I did good.

My scale, on the other hand...

Made my choice

Well I am at home while the family is at camp. That is fine by me. I am sick with a cold anyway. It is cold, damp, and raw out.

I made myself an english muffin pizza with a salad for lunch so that was a meal to take my mind off of what they are eating this afternoon.

After this weekend camp will be officially open and we can stay overnight. When we do that we cook meals and so on. Then I can shop and get things I eat. Or bring it with me.

Week 5 Weigh In - The Tape Measure Don't Lie :D

Since I didn't weigh myself on Monday because of the binge weekend (yeah, I was too chicken to see the damage...) I did weigh and measure this morning. Here are the results:

Weight: 138
Bust: 37.5 (- 0.5)
Waist: 34.5 (- 0.5)
Hips: 38 (- 0.5)

I'm very happy about these results. I expected to gain weight because of the binge weekend, so I'm happy I stayed the same. Also, I did add as of last week 4x a week 30 minutes of pilates with pilates resistance band which has me doing a tougher level of exercise than I've been used to for a while. So there...

Simple beauty

Went to another eating/emotional group yesterday evening. It wasn’t brilliant but as part of my overall structure and strategy to live the life I want to and to be the person I truly am its essential.
In the past I haven’t been creative enough or flexible enough with getting my needs met. I assumed or hoped one book one group or even one type of diet and eating plan would be enough for everything. I assumed one source had all the answers. I guess I was the one who was unconsciously rigid. It was unconscious because if I had known better or seen the bigger picture I would have acted differently....
