May 1: Day 1 Perfect Month Challenge

Today is definitely a good month to begin anew! I am looking foward to everything that is coming my way in all areas of my life. I am eternally grateful to my God that he has constantly spared me, had mercy on me, and blessed me so favorably.

Today was very busy for me. I have been trying to find my husband something to wear to to the Steve Harvey show we are going to Saturday night. He is so picky. I still haven't found him anything.

Today has been a very perfect day 1 for me, as far a my challenge goes. I got in additional exercise at the mall, and...

Today is DH's 41st birthday......ahhhhh.....to be young.....must be nice.

Work gave me an extra night off tonight which is good so I can make DH dinner of his choice (roast beef, baked potatoes, broccoli w/ cheese sauce, crescent rolls, gravy) and enjoy his day. I got him carrot cake for dessert.......his favorite, I hate it, LOL. He's been asking for a wallet so I got him 2, and picked up his favorite candies (which I will be sending to work with him tomorrow or he has to hide it)

I'm happy that I've hit the 40# mark on Weight Watchers........not sure how obsessive...

adjusting the meal plan

ok, so I got lernt a few things today. first off, thank you again so much to everybody that posted to my menu thread

I'm going to put my current menu down first, then I'm going to come up with a new menu based on expert input from the thread.

Old:
B:
- 8-12oz SF Tang taken with an acid reflux Rx and a BP Rx
- 2 12oz cups coffee with 1 serving SF Davinci's each
- 4 eggs scrambled with sour cream and butter(not real butter, still working through an old package of the fake stuff)
- 3 sausage patties walmart brand regular

May 1st, a new month for change

A new month with 31 days to make a difference in so many aspects of my life.
I wonder what things will be like in 30 days?
Why are you stressing yourself Janice.
Eckhart Tolle talks and writes about living in the presence, so I am going to do that take each moment and be in the presence and not worry about how many pounds I want to be down by the end on the month.

So ladies, we are going to do this one moment at a time.
We will be successful.

Good News!!!

Hubby and I went to the surgeon yesterday and we have been told that they will be able to take care of the damage to hub's knee arthrosopically! (that's a mouthful) It means that they only make two little incisions on either side of the knee and go in with instruments that allow them to see inside and also fix the parts that need fixing. What a great day we live in! It means less recovery. Less pain. Back to work quicker.

Hubby just wanted to know if he could ride his Harley by June for Bike week in Laconia. The doc told him that he would be fine by then. Halleluia! ...
